September 2010

We're now printing the 2011 Elfin Desk Diary. This is an A5 sized version of the popular pocket-sized Elfin Magical Diary; this year we've redesigned the layout so that it has 2 days to a page, giving much more space for writing in. Unlike the smaller-size Diary - which is sent directly to a printing service - we print all the inside pages of the Desk Diary ourselves, and only send out for the covers and binding.

Once that's out of the way, we'll be printing 300 copies of a poetry book by a popular local figure. We've done the layout and cover design for her and are just waiting for final approval from the customer before we go ahead and print.

May 2010

We've started the first work on the 2012 Elfin Diary. We don't print this ourselves, just layout all the pages ready for publishing, using DTP (desktop publishing) software.

For the Elfin Diary we also research and gather all the information needed - daily astrological aspects, daily rising and setting times for Sun & Moon, notable anniverseries, notable astronomical events, religious festivals, Bank Holiday dates and so on.

The 2011 Diary is basically finished and will soon go for printing. Each year's Diary is published around the previous September, comes in several formats and can be bought directly from the publisher's website: www.elfindiaries.co.uk

March 2010

We have completed the printing of another poetry booklet for Hilltop Press. A Sack of Midnight by Cardinal Cox (ISBN 978-0-905262-44-4) is an epic poetry cycle based on the Mabinogion, a collection of tales from Welsh mythology. For details of this and many other poetry collections, write (with an SAE) to the Hilltop Press address on the Links page.

November 2009

Things have been quiet on the printing front, but we have just completed a website for Windows Hotline, a North-West firm who supply windows, doors and conservatories nationwide. This was quite a complex site to design, as the client required several 'slideshows' of his products.

July 2009

This has been a pretty busy month for us.

We've completed the second printing of Answering The C.A.W.L. - and it isn't even officially published yet! And we're now close to completing printing of an important collection of Lilith Lorraine's poetry for Hilltop Publications.
